Problem printing 5x7, crashing, editing not clearing blue boxes

I had several problems using the program as downloaded from Apple.

1. It crashed before I could save my first project.
2. While editing, there were blue opaque boxes that stayed around some of the pictures and wouldn't go away, so I couldn't edit the pictures while the boxes remained there.
3. I saved the above picture and opened it back up and the boxes were gone, and I was able to continue editing.
4. I wanted to print 5x7. I set it up in Page Set-up, and it said below the edited picture 5x7. When sent to the printer, it would not print. I kept getting an error message (yes, I told the printer to look for 5x7 paper, and the tray to go to).
5. I put in 8x10 paper and it printed 8x10 size although I told it to print 5x7, and the quality was not so great.
6. I exported the collage to my desktop, saving as a 4x6 and as a 5x7 JPEG (by adjusting the Page Set-up for each size before exporting).
7. I printed the 4x6 without any problem, picture was good quality.
8. Tried printing the 5x7, would not print, and gave me the same error message that the paper tray needed to be loaded.
9. I thought by exporting as a JPEG it would print but, alas, it did not. I need to be able to print in 5x7 or this program will do me no good
10. I got the LITE version first and had NO crashing or editing problems. I was printing an 8x10 anyway so that printed perfect. Even the picture quality was better than the full version.

It should be noted, that to test if the 5x7 issue was with my printer, I printed a collage done in another program, it printed without any problems.
